Shahrukh came to Bollywood to fulfill his mother’s dream
Shahrukh had worked in the serial ‘Fauji’ in the year 1988. After this he came to Bollywood. The story we are telling you was revealed by Shahrukh’s friend Vivek Vaswani during an interview. According to Vivek, Shahrukh started working in the film world to fulfill the dream of his mother Latif Fatima Khan.
Vivek Vaswani told Siddharth Kannan in an interview that, ‘We went to Gehlot near Church Road. We ordered butter chicken and naan. He (Shahrukh Khan) told me face to face, ‘My mother is dying’. He poured out his heart. Then we went and sat on Marine Drive. He told me about his mother’s organ failure.’
Vivek used to send medicines for Shahrukh’s ailing mother
Vivek helped Shah Rukh a lot when he was going through a bad time. He also sent medicines for Shah Rukh’s ailing mother Latif. Vivek said, ‘I used to buy expensive medicines here in Mumbai and send them to Delhi through Raman (Shahrukh’s friend) because he was a pilot. But she died.’ The actor’s mother died in 1991.
Shahrukh’s mother wanted her son to become a superstar
After his mother’s death, Shahrukh returned to Mumbai. Vivek further said, ‘One day he came and said, ‘I want to do films.’ I said, ‘But you did not want to do films, you just wanted to do TV.’ But he said that I want this film because my mother’s dream is that I become a superstar.’
